Welcome to Arieh Lev Breslow’s Homepage

Every morning for 30 years I have begun my day with Taijiquan (Tai Chi) and Qigong (Chi Gung). From personal experience I believe that the regular practice of Taiji and Qigong will keep you healthy and help you to enjoy a high quality of life. This belief is solidly supported by scientific studies on the efficacy of Taiji, a few of which you can find on this website. In addition to my daily practice I have written extensively on Taiji and produced DVDS and Videos with Taiji health exercises designed for specific needs. These products will help you to take advantage of the many benefits of Taiji and Qigong.

I would like to introduce you to my new book, ‘In the Garden of my Teachers,’ a tribute to my primary Taiji teachers, Professor Zhengmanqing and Benjamin Pang Jeng Lo. Both men exerted a powerful influence on my development and on the book’s contents. ‘In the Garden’ contains twenty-two essays on Taiji theory and practice that were written over a twenty year period. Most of the essays were written recently and represent my thoughts on the relevance of Taiji to the modern world. I believe that you will find this book a fascinating addition to and a departure from the traditional literature in the field. To find out more about my book, click on the book’s photo where there is information about the book and brief summaries of ten essays.

Reviews and Praise for 'In the 'Garden of My Teachers'

"In the Garden of My Teachers' is a worthwhile addition to the library of all serious students or teachers of Taiji. It provides a good sourcebook and fine summary of important Chinese Taiji Classics that must be incorporated into the practice and teaching of Taiji. Mr. Breslow, in the Jewish tradition Semicha, the practice of handing down traditions from one generation of teacher to the next, provides with clarity many of the fundamental Confucian principles believed in and practiced by Professor Zhengmenqing. He also provides insight into the origins and practice of Taiji that only a trained historian can convey. I recommend this book highly to Taiji students and the general public at large, and most importantly to all persons who wish to expand their physical and spiritual horizons."  --Journal of Asian Martial Arts
